I am a retired Mechanical Engineer. I have a degree from Carnegie (BS and PhD, both ME) and Caltech (MS ME). After serving in the U.S. Army (thanks to ROTC), I worked 31 years for Bell Laboratories, designing/developing telecom products. When I retired, I wanted to share my industry experiences, so I returned to CMU to teach, which I did for 14 years.
