Eric Zimmerman is a game designer who has been working in the industry since the early 1990s. He has designed dozens of award-winning games on and off the computer. Eric was the co-founder of Gamelab, an NYC-based studio that created Diner Dash and other online game hits. He was the lead designer of SiSYFIGHT 2000 with Word.com.
Recent projects include the tabletop games Quantum (FunForge) and The Metagame (Local No. 12) and museum installations with architect Nathalie Pozzi at the Museum of Modern Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. With Katie Salen, Eric co-authored Rules of Play and The Game Design Reader. He is a founding faculty and Arts Professor at the NYU Game Center.
